Dale Carnegie Ireland

Dale Carnegie Training has been represented in Ireland since 1966 and the current operation is the first wholly Irish owned Irish franchise, and has been in its present form since February 2003.

Since 2003, and based on the longevity of previous client relationships, the company has built a strong client base running regular open courses, and in-company bespoke programmes.

Methodology

Dale Carnegie's differentiating strength is in training delivery, which is grounded in the Dale Carnegie methods of interactive person centred coaching, building on strengths rather than weaknesses, active participation, dynamic audience interaction and Socratic questioning.

Trainers

All trainers, regardless of geographical location, are licensed directly with DC headquarers in New York., resulting in a consistent worldwide trainer network of approximately 2,800 individuals. All trainers have completed a minimum of 300 hours of training pre qualification and are required to be refreshed annually, and re-certified every three years to maintain their training license.

All Dale Carnegie trainers are required to be competent facilitators in order to qualify as trainers and the certification process is rigid and exacting.

ISO Certification

Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc. Product & Trainer Development has received its ISO 9001:2000 certification from BVQi. The scope of this certification includes customized training products; design, development and processing of organizational and training assessments and evaluations as well as the training and certification of trainers


Carnegie Background
Dale Carnegie began in 1912, to coach business people in public speaking and presentation skills. This quickly evolved into assisting business people in developing (in today's terms) their "emotional intelligence." Technical skills alone are no longer enough to guarantee success, for an individual or an organization. When it comes to building relationships, Dale Carnegie wrote the book - How to Win Friends and Influence People.
